Has she tried resetting the CMOS jumper, booting with just one stick of RAM in different slots and updating the BIOS?

Yeap she has done all of that. And the board now won't recognize her sticks, although yesterday the system at least booted and she was able to game in WOW for a little while, before it would randomly restart...and this was after doing all of the above.

Clear cmos, insert 1 dimm in appropriate slot, power it up, bump ram voltage up in bios to the point of going only slightly over what it is rated at. Save settings and boot.
