My Prime95 worked at 1.435V bot would fail, raised it to 1.445V and it works like a charm just keep increasing Vcore until its 100%.

What would be considered too much vcore for me though? I don't want to overload anything. I would think that 1.45 would be more than enough for 4 ghz, but I could be wrong

Every chip is different none are the same, i would stay below 1.48V, 3.9Ghz-4 is not much of a difference if you think its high drop it! biggrin.gif

Well running p95 right now with my vcore at 1.47something, and it's getting further than it has in the past. Temp seems to be hanging out at 52c, which doesn't seem to bad. I just thought I could use 1.45 vcore for running at 4ghz. Guess I'll let it run while I sleep and see what I see on my monitor when I wake up. Thank you for your help. I never went above 1.45 initially because everywhere I looked said 1.45 was enough, guess I was wrong doh.gif

Using an Antec Kuhler 620, and it was running at 58 degrees and in the middle of typing this it just powered down, too much voltage? Was trying to do internet at the same time as p95 a bad thing? It was running smooth and stable for almost 30 minutes

Antec Kuhler 620 is that like a H50 from corsair as in performance ??? I'm running a howling H80 Push-Pull setup and I cant go 4.2ghz!

beb in 50mins... Found my file kit and I have some ruff aluminum edges at the 120mm H80 mount, so going to clean that up and kill a few whistle in the process biggrin.gif
