I cant even get Steam up log in for me...everytime I try it locks up...irritated me so much that I formatted my entire HDD and reloaded Win 7...Still having the same issue...Guess its Gods way of saything that I dont need to play Arkham City

Ok I solved the problem.

 

I was using the openDNS DNS numbers.

 

I made my DNS automatic and everything is working fine now.

 

Thanks for the contribution folks.

 

It seems like opendns is having a problem with steam or something. I dont know.

maybe the problem is like mine?

 

Are you using your ISP's DNS numbers or something else?

 

Maybe try a different DNS value and see what happens.

It could just be steam issues, luckily I haven't had a problem but everywhere I look people have been complaining today about how its crashing or there games are.

Yeah I had games crashing on me for the last 2-3 days as well.

The problem came back to haunt me again and changing the DNS to Auto or 8.8.8.8 or 208.67.222.222 does not help at all this time.

It seems a common problem where people globally are having and seems that Steam does not care at all
