i raised my Bus Speed to 250!! - Page 4

You only need to raise your chipset voltage when you are running a high FSB, 300+. Yes, there are chipset coolers, as a matter of fact, for that board you have, there is an ideal chipset cooler, ill look it up momentarily. I would not run your chip past 55c for any reason, there is no point in killing a perfectly good chip because you are not patient enough to wait for better cooling.

Here is what all your friends at DFI use: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835119080

Before buying make sure its compatible with your Mobo, it was compatible with my DFI, but I had the DFI Lanparty UT

Yeah, KACAE is a great stepping, would suck to kill it before you really start overclocking it. Good choice.

In all reality, yes, you probably could get away with it, however, higher temps reduce the lifespan of computer parts, as such, the higher the temps go, the life span decreases in relation. Its your chip, your more than welcome to run it at any temp you like, I however cannot in good conscious suggest you run it over 55c.

As you're learning, OCing is not just entering numbers into the BIOS. It's a slow, methodical method that involves alot of note taking and testing...it shouldn't have to include "Oh My Gosh!" questions on forums.

I'd set things back to stock and do a little more reading if I were you. One overclocking guide does not make an overclocker.
