the motherboard touching the case could be a problem?

And i mistakenly use one of my standoff on the motherboard and now i cant take it off

Do you mean the screw holding the motherboard to the standoff won't undo? If so then you need to try and unscrew the standoff from the case (if the screw is sufficiently tight in the standoff the screw should actually unscrew the standoff from the case), then use a set of pliers and a screwdriver to undo the screw by holding the standoff with the pliers and unscrewing the screw.

Also the motherboard shouldn't be touching the case at all, the standoffs should prevent that.

Stand offs go under the motherboard to the case and you use the small flat screws, sometimes they have paper washers, to screw the board to the stand offs.

Standoffs go between mobo and case smile.gif
