Wow, should I berate you for your blatant lack of knowledge and gross ignorance, or should I just show you up anyways with actual facts?
Since I'm nice, the latter of course:
No, the Wii's "remote" is not like that of the PS2's, the PS2's remote capabilities are extremely limited, namely, surfing your DVDs and a very uncomfortable control scheme lacklusterly placed onto it.
The Wiimote has motion sensitive technology inside it and infrared sensors to detect acceleration, yaw, pitch, tilt, and potentially position. I'm sorry but, I'd like to see you play a sword game with the PS2's remote, or swing a baseball bat, punching your best buddy out, or swinging a sword in Zelda with anything other than the Wii's remote.
Last point, ALL Wii games use the Wiimote, not some, ALL.
