Yes but you tried to insinuate the fact that Nintendo was ripping off an idea from Sony.

Which I think is clearly not the case.

The remotes are vastly different, so much so that even if the idea was conceptualized by using Sony's remote as the base, they expanded upon the idea so much that it became it's own individual entity.

I think the question is how long do you think it will be before Sony tries to mimic?

Oh I did? I did not mean for it to sound that way if it did.

I wish I hadn't made this thread now, all consoles seem to do is create war. They all have there good bits (graphics, controller etc..) and there bad bits (which they all try to hide). Whereas the PC "realm" seems more honest and civilized lol. If a card says it can do this something, it will do it. Here is some of the good bits and bad from eaxh console:

Wii

+ Good/Fun Games
+ Very nice controller
+ Multi-player with friends swining action
+ Cheap

- Low Spec Hardware
- No HD, only 480p max
- Not many RPG's (my favorite type of game)
- No Media Functionality

X360

+ Right balance between price and hardware
+ 720p supported
+ Media Functionality

- Not a huge amount of good games, and those games that are good are either on the PS3 or PC with better graphics and controls.
- Not many RPG's

PS3

+ High end hardware
+ 1080p supported
+ Lots of RPG's like PS2
+ Good controller (>X360, <Wii)
+ More Media Functionality

- Expensive
- Majority of games aren't fun? (execpt for the rpg's)

I am not tyring to start a system wars with anyone, I like to keep the piece on these subjects But there you have it.

BTW, when you are showing 'facts' you should post a source, it's not a fact because you say it. In my last sentence, I am not saying you are wrong, just that facts should be proven with a source.
But they cant be compared still.. These facts have been out for awhile, I thought it was fairly common knowledge know about the Wii's controllers' capability

I'd like to disagree with two of your points. First, while the nintendo consoles do have low hardware specs, they are still able to create great games that run beautifully. Second, I think that PS2/3 has the best games of all three. PS2/3 gets all the lower budget, not as well known of games. While the PS2/3 probably has the most RPGs, and apeals to RPG gamers, I feel like the PS2/3 has better racing and shooting games. I (I'll get killed for saying this) also don't validate Halo as a shooter or as a game that is fun for more than 3-4 hours

Ok yea I agree, but you cant deny that the wii has low specification hardware, it has to be there as a low point (it cant be a good point lol). But your rite that part doesnt make a lot of difference, the main grudge is no HD support, if the wii had 720p support, I would not think twice about buying one, zelda or Mario in 720p would seriously look nice . I wonder if Nintendo will do this?

Yea thats what I was trying to say PS3 has the best games (to me anyway) once all the RPG's and platformers come flooding in, but the Wii has fun multiplayer games too.

I dont like playing FPS/Driving/Strategy games on a console, I leave that to my PC because they are not hardcore enough on consoles.

You need a X1950XT or higher end nvidia (not 8800).
