I run it in 1280x1024 resolution , yes if select "auto" it will only give me "low" settings.

then just run it on low. id rather have lower graphic settings running at a good framerate then good graphics running at a terible frame rate.

if you want eye candy (high settings) youre going to have to upgrade your hardware.

I saw this in a computer store nearby "ASUS ENGTX560 TI DC2 TOP/2DI/2GD5 GeForce GTX 560 Ti (Fermi) 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16" is this graphics card is enough for me to run in atleat "high" i can only afford for upgrading my graphics card. is ASUS a good brand of g.card?

yes that card will run you on high settings, how much are they charging for it?

they are selling it for 95kd (Kuwait Dinar) still expensive for me because half of my salary for this month. but if somebody can assure me it is worth buying this card then i will get it this week!

you will def be able to play it on high settings at 1280x1024. itll play decently on high at 1920x1080 too, but your CPU might be a bottleneck at that point. if you really need to play on high i would say go for it.

Tonight I will try to play BF3 by settings suggested in this forum, can somebody tell me what is the important settings that I have to put in " HIGH" i just want the characters to move smoothly.

Disable AA and it'll run OK. That's really the only setting that makes the difference. Maybe shadows as well. There's no way that card can run BF3 smoothly. Play on low or medium. You're using an old card, what do you expect?

After seeing all the rigs of all member in this thread I felt so a shame in my rig, anyway i will try to do all the adjustment in BF3 and I will inform you guys if I succeed.
