Applying Plexi

Hey guys, this is my case. And i am going to apply plexi;



Can i apply plexi with chloroform?

I tried double-sided sticky tape but under high temp. it release itself.

the 3M 4010 is great, but the 3M VHB 4941 will do a better job since it was made for outdoor ambient.

just curious, but how high are the temps where you put your pc?

I think they are high. Because i am living at hot city.

By the way can't i use chloroform? And i don't know what the tape is. I am at Turkiye.

Ok, but i don't think that temps lower than 50C would ruin those 3m tapes.

As far as i know, chloroform works only to glue plastic to plastic as it chemically melts them. You can try and use it to stick to the side pannel but you must be careful to not spill anything over the plexi and ruin it.

the 3M VHB 4941, 4611 or 4011 are usually called "3M Interior/Exterior mounting tape" or "Scotch Permanent Outdoor Mounting Tape", you can find them almost everywhere (mostly on supermarket and hardware stores) and look like this:

I wish i didn't cut the case's side panel. I wasted too much money. And chloroform is for nothing
