[TechCrunch] iPhone 5 plagued with screen issues? - Page 6

If the number of faulty iPhone5s rank up to a sizable amount, it is clear as day that we can conclude that Apple's QA is rather garbage.  It would be very disappointing, given how much money Apple has.

Wait for those numbers before tooting either horn.

Exactly without real numbers this means nothing. Mine is fine for now....Knock on wood.

In any case I bought the iPhone 5 and have no issues with it. *knock on wood*

you don't think consumers should know if the product they are purchasing has known issues?

Yeah... ok

Are members here really this dense?

EVERY physical product line has at least a small amount of failures, does OCN need a news thread for every issue with every cell phone? Large failure rates like the iPhone 4 antenna issues, or the iPad 3 screen color issues, Xbox 360 rrod, ps2 disc read issues, etc. I guarantee I can go find YouTube videos for problems with many Android phones, but I won't because it doesn't matter and it's not newsworthy.

It's important to note. It's news worthy because there was an article about it. If you don't want to hear about it, then don't read the thread thumb.gif

Guarantee you that nobody would enjoy me posting 10 articles about issues with other phones. Something being an article doesn't qualify it as news for this site. I don't have to read it, but it still takes up space in the news section. Wouldn't you rather have less news but all of it interesting and high quality rather than have half of the news section be Apple-related drivel?

I'm an iPhone owner and still tired of hearing about it so much.

Being someone who considers the iphone as an option, I appreciate being exposed to it. OCN is a one stop shop for most tech things, and I like knowing when a new product I'm considering has issues. thumb.gif

Depends on your definition of successful. It absolutely crushed all previous sales records, so that's a pretty big win no matter how you slice it.
