Unless you guys missed it, I mentioned that I'm currently living in Central Vietnam, and am myself, new here.

I checked with all the shops here and even online ones from the capital cities Hanoi and Saigon... the A10s are nowhere to be found yet.
I can't buy from newegg or tigerdirect or amazon etc due to warranty issues.
If I were in America or Canada right now, I would've settled for a 965BE AM3+ 6670/1GD5, like, last week. (The 965BE dropped in price to $90!)
It's still like more than $150 here in Vietnam, and in the city I'm in (DaNang), there's none to be found in the first place. Again, warranty issues if I were to get from the capital cities (I... really dont see a UPS, DHL or Fedex here, so far).
Worst even, I have a feeling that when the A10 /does/ hit our shores, the prices will be stupid.

Otherwise, the G860 is like $90 here, and I found a couple of online stores in Hanoi/ Saigon selling it at $70, so I shot out a bunch of emails. If the A10 doesn't make it here in time and in good price, I'll be going for G860+6670/1GD5, with a possible upgrade path of the 2500k + 6670/1GD5 CF.

Going with the feel of this thread still, I really wonder still if the single 6670/1GD5 is good enough to play all -current- games. The next step would be to consider the Sparkle GTX550Ti/1GD5, a $35 increase, or $350, over 10x systems, which is substantial.

$350 , is that the us equivalent ? if it is, i would hate to see high end prices.
whats your choices over there price wise for mid-range ?

Terhaps then it'd be a good idea to add your location as Central Vietnam in your user profile?

As far as I know most (maybe all) HD 6670 do not have Crossfire connections. Please check this concerning the cards you are looking at if this is in your future plans. Llano/Trinity use "Hybrid Crossfire" without a bridge.
The 550 Ti is a slower card than the HD7750 I think. 550 Ti uses a power connector PCIe 6 pin. I believe most 550 Ti will SLI though, where the HD 6670 will not.
Be aware, on motherboards with two PCIe 2.x X 16 if the PCIe lanes split 8 and 4 this is fine for crossfire.
SLI requires (at least officially) 8x and 8x split on the PCIe lanes.

Good luck and enjoy.

Toms is not the "best" reference website but is useful.
System Builder Marathons happen every three months, so look back.
These are intended to sell parts by newegg, but are worth a look. I always enjjoy reading the comments.
