GTX 660 - Page 2

You don't have to worry about the GXT 660 blowing up your PSU. It sips energy. Its based on 28nm tech (vs 40nm tech for most of the 500 series). The GTX 660 only uses one 6-pin connector.

I think it would even work fine with a 400W PSU.

Nvidia has restricted the power target on GTX 660 pretty badly. Even at stock speeds GTX 660 Ti is 20% faster than GTX 660. With overclocking that gap widens to 30%. so think and decide.

the linked articles show bf3 with
660 @1084 mhz 98fps vs 660ti @ 1298 mhz 118fps, no wonder its 20% since ti is actually overclocked
I saw your writing in other topics, so i can clearly say to others disregard them

there are too many benchmarks out there that clearly show that at stock 660 is 5-6fps less in bf3 to 660ti (42vs48fps at ultra), because the 40% cores in ti are just killing each other on the 192bit bus of 660ti. so 70eur difference between 235 and 300eur card for 6fps is joke. on other hand i do admit buyers remorse, cause i have the cash to buy more xD
