AS SSD Benchmark - "1 K - BAD"

Thread Starter
I have a 64GB Crucial M4 with latest firmware (000F) and when I load up AS SSD Benchmark it says "iaStor, 1 K - BAD"
My other Crucial M4 says "103424K - OK" in green.

What does this mean exactly, is it a big deal? And if so how can I fix it for the M4 with the red "1 K - BAD" attached to it?

Thanks,

BAD = incorrect alignment. Sean has written a nice guide about how to fix this situation: http://www.overclock.net/t/1226963/how-to-properly-re-align-your-ssd-hdd-partitions/0_20

Thanks - it was a bit confusing without the YouTube video tutorial (it says offline) but I managed to make it work. Now when I see the drive in AS SSD Benchmark my second 64GB Crucial M4 SSD says "4096 K - OK" in green.
Just curious but is there any reason my first 64GB Crucial M4 SSD says "103424 K - OK"

Should it also say "4096 K - OK"? I'm assuming that's referring to 4MB of unallocated space? 103MB seems like a lot, no?

As long as AS SSD says "OK", the number that precedes it doesn't matter; the partition is aligned correctly. That number is the offset of the partition's start.

The setup routine for both Windows 7 Enterprise and Ultimate automatically creates a 100MB partition at the start of the disk for use with BitLocker. That's why the C: drive on your boot disk begins at 100MB and some change.
