What is everyones take on this particular power supply? I currently have a HX620 power supply from corsair and I love it and its modular just not fully modular. While I do like the modular its not something I have to have. Would you suggest this over a seasonic 750w fully modular power supply?

GS800 is not modular at all.
A friend bought the GS600, and it has been working perfectly with two 460's and a Phenom II x6.
What is the other Seasonic PSU you want to compare? Also, why change an already good PSU?

No, it's an inferior design to both the unit you own and the X750, and it is not modular as has been stated. You don't even need close to 750 watts for your current system anyways and would do fine with just a 400 watt PSU so just keep what you have.Originally Posted by corysti

I had one temporarily while I was waiting on an RMA and I was not impressed. It isn't modular, and the temp controlled fan was very annoying as it spun up and down a lot. Why can't you just keep the HX620 you have?

Well for one the system is constantly upgrading and im currently working on a crossfire setup and while my current power supply still works I've been wanting to get a bigger one in the case and put the 620 in my htpc. I understand that its not modular but to be honest on the 620 I use all but one of my cables on the power supply so really there is no difference on modular to non modular to me.
