Logitech G400 - input lag?

Thread Starter
For the past month I've been blaming Nvidia solely for my input lag woes. However, after purchasing a Zowie ec2 evo my input lag was greatly reduced. So I decided to dig out my large collection of mice and compare.

After hours of testing I am certain the Logitech G400 has inherent input lag. It feels somewhere in the 10ms region.

Is it possible for a mouse to buffer the output? Seems to be the only logical explanation.

It's very minor. Unless you've got experience of CRTs or low input lag 120hz displays running at >120fps you'll not notice it over your displays built-in lag.

the displays built in lag should actually make it more apparant, since the overall lag will be higher, making it feel worse

ye one in a million.
and by the unbelievable huge feedback by all the g400 useres in the high frequencied forum team liquid, you see how many have problems with that...
just plugged in my g400 and even installed logitech gaming software to check if there is a driver problem and all hz steps.
feels fine from 125hz to 1000hz.

may i ask what mouse u used before?

I notice any kind of input lag very easily. With no logitech software installed, the G400 has 0 added input lag. If you install the mouse software for it, there is a noticeable increase in input lag. I notice the same thing with pretty much every mouse software including G9x, g400, and Sensei.
