Razer Blackwidow Ultimate - Page 2

Sure. I had a couple keys (think it was the "u" an delete that would chatter in the first month. That means they would register as two keystrokes. Then about 3 months later my leds on the capslock, print screen, and tab would flicker on and off. I also had several keys that would be dimmer than the rest one day and be fine the next.
Don't get me wrong, it's a cool looking keyboard if you are into backlighting, but the quality was just not there for me.

Its not that the build quality of the board is bad its just that the razer quality control sucks and there were some issues with some people but I had my regular blackwidow for about 2 years and it is one of the more solid boards that I have used, get the 2013 version it has nkro if you needed and it does not have that crappy gloss finish smile.gif hope that helped.

Backlighting is cool until you have to deal with issues attached to it. I would just stick to regular keyboard without backlighting after your bwu catches fire. Lol, jk. kinda

If you haven't bought one yet, do you have interest in buying mine? Nothing wrong with it. I just think it's starting to looking tacky.

I already bought it, and received it today. This is the first time I have used a mechanical keyboard, and I must say it is awesome. Typing on this thing is so nice. I can even tell I am typing much faster and more precise. As far as gaming, not much changed if anything but still a great deal better than my $9 Logitech.

The only concern I have with it is that the "U" button acted like it was stuck, buy not physically stuck.
It was all like uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
and I was like NOOOOOOO!

The only way to stop it was unpluging it. This didn't happen until I installed the drivers and the automatic firmware update was applied. I havent had it happen for the last 3 hours of use since, but it still concerns me.
