@ Chewy

830 is very good drive. But if you want to spend more on 840 Pro and wait 2 weeks ... wink.gif

Is there any mention of P/E numbers in any of those reviews? I am too lazy to look through them frown.gif

I'd never buy any new SSD, even if it's the successor of the reliable 830.
I'd urge anybody interested to wait at least 3 months to read some forum/amazon/newegg reviews. During that period users can "gauge" the reliability, and as a bonus prices will definitely go down.

That being said, the 840 looks mighty yummy biggrin.gif

In three months the 840 will be old news,

Second 830 as prices will probably drop on them. Two of them in Raid-0 will out perform a 840 Pro all day long. Tho im sure you could Raid-0 a 830 and a 840 Pro, and it would be no different then two 830's.
