hi guys how u doing please i need your help with making some lights for my desk i got two of pc neons that has 4 pin molex connector in order to work with a pc power supply i looked around for the 4 pin molex ac adapter that can be used to turn on dvd drives and hdds fans all those kind of Devices got 12/5v 4 pin molex power source i found it but the problem is taht this adapter dont give the neon full power it only lights up a small part of it i test it with 4 antec fans with blue leds connected in the same way and they run good here is the pic of the neon and dc all connected together so any ideas i need to complete my project

It says it only puts out 2 Amps, which is 24W of DC power @ 12v. What are the power requirements of each of the things hooked up to it? I am guessing that the fans are probably 3-5W/ea and the CCFL are probably fairly power hungry. You will probably need to either get something with 3-5x the max power output or get multiple of the one that you already have.
