Web Hosting

I have had the last issue with my web hosting company and their SQL server. Again, the 5h time in 2 months it has gone down and ALL my wordpress sites go down and I cannot take it anymore. I was curious to know what reliable web hosting company that you guys use with a decent SQL database structure?? AND yes if you want to know the hosting provider im pissed @ is inmotionhosting.com

I use 24hosting.com, but I have become rather irritated with them as well. I have been getting regular vBulletin errors and an unreasonable amount of downtime. I would NOT recommend them.

Knownhost VPS plans are good. Know a couple people using the shared hosting with them also with no issues, but that is for pretty low/no traffic sites, so don't know about that.

I run many sites off my VPS and the support when needed is fast and good. Can definitely recommend them if you are not looking for complete budget hosting.

I personally use intoVPS for my server, but it sounds like you want shared hosting? x10hosting is pretty good.

I debated on bluehost. Ive been to five sites with the top 5 rating this year and last year. I popped an email off to customer support asking for the remaining year to be reimbursed for me.

We recently started using Microsoft Azure at work, and I truly do like it - plus it is free up to a certain usage point. It is not only windows either, you can run anything you want on it.

I can't find the page that shows it, but you have to authorize them to go to pay (though you do need a CC to sign up).
It is a relatively large amount of usage for free, but it only works for *.azurewebsites.net - if you want to go to your own domain, it will start costing.
