hello my friend is building a pc and his cpu is a amd fx 8150, and he will be getting the 7870oc edition. and he wants to know what kind of psu he should get that will be modular and he said that he will be overclocking. if anybody has a answer that would be great. thanks and have a great day.

Where are you buying from and what is your budget?

Get a 550~650watt. Recommend getting a 650watt for future Upgrades.
But tell us your budget so we could recommend you good units.

i just called him up he said so far all his things in the cart are $801. so he said around $80-110.

I take it you're in NA, so you should probably check the Rosewill Capstone units at newegg (excellent value premium units)... anything from 450W upwards will do just fine. smile.gif
