Water cooling build HELP a noob pwease

Thread Starter
So I am completely new to water cooling, but after seeing how a cheap Thermaltake 2.0 pro worked on my cpu compared to stck heat sink I am hooked. I now want to water cool my entire build. I am not quite finished with the build as I need to purchase one more HD 7970 vapor-x Ghz edition card to run crossfire. Here is my question. I would like to run the i7 3770k @ 4.7-5Ghz below 80c on Prime 95 and cool both my non reference 7970's all on the same water system. So where do I purchase all the parts I need (water blocks n such) to cool my 7970's and i7 3770k? Fittings, hoses, pumps, neat lights, clear tubing? Is there a big kit I can just buy? Please list what you would purchase if you had about 700% to spend to water cool your system (if thats even possible) I wanna get the ball rolling on becoming water cooled smile.gif Here is a pic of my current build. Only have 1 7970 so far frown.gif

$700 is a legit budget if you spend the time to search out parts. There is not one place I would recommend to buy all of the parts required to WC your build. My parts are still rolling in, but I have made purchases from Jab-Tech, FrozenCPU and Performance-PC. Between the 3 I snagged a couple of discount codes from OCN and got everything I needed.

The basics are a Res, Pump/s, Radiator/s, CPU block, GPU block/s, tubing and fittings. There are many choices for different configurations based on your needs and physical space in the case. I would suggest looking at the water cooling section as there are many good threads for new water coolers. I would also suggest doing a search for your specific case and see what others have done to WC there set-up.

Good luck with your project. Remember to take your time, research and have fun thumb.gif

Here is a spreadsheet that will help you figure out how much radiator and fan you will need to cool your gear.
