I have a Logitech MX5500 keyboard/mice combo (bluetooth). I was gone for a week with my pc turned off and when I got back my mouse just hasn't been the same. It's gotten a little better but not much.
Tons of weird things. Doesn't always like to highlight. When I left off the left button, the highlighting goes away. Double clicking some times. Was using google maps and moving check point dots to make a route and the mouse would let go. When I right click and click on "open in new tab" for firefox, it will open the new tab, but it will also load what I right clicked on the first tab. There was some other stuff but already forgetting.
I opened the logitech software and defaulted everything, no change. Re-connected, no change. Is there a way through W7 to reset mouse functions? Just re-install drivers? I've never had problems like this before. Makes me think it's software related more than hardware.
