HAF X 942 Water Cooling *Help*

Hello everybody! smile.gif
I need help with my haf x 942. I have the RayStorm 750 RX360 WaterCooling Kit, but i need to figure out where can i put another 120 or 2x120 rad in this case? I cant seem to think of anywhere i can put it. They will be cooling a 3930k and 2 7970s. i'll have two ssds, 1 hdd and i need atleast 2 5.25s for the reservoir. Thanks! thumb.gif

Are you open to some hefty modding? I removed the hard drive bay in my haf x and put a 200mm rad down there. I put my 2 hdd's above my res in the 5.25 trays and I used velcro to attach my 2 ssd's to the side of the 5.25 bays. It took a lot of work but it all fits internally. However, if you're willing to use a bracket you can mount a radiator externally with much less effort.

What if you mount your SSDs behind the motherboard tray? It'll free some space up in the 5.25" bays. Then, do what Gandalf said and put a 240 down bottom after removing the hard drive cage. Where exactly are you going to mount the 360mm? Up top?

Thanks for the help. I decided to put a 120 dual rad in the hard drive bay and a cut a rectangle in the of bottom of last 5.25 so the top of the rad peeks out in the bay so i can hook it up to the reservoir right above it. Im going to use the Black Ice GT Stealth 240 X-Flow Radiator so from the 2nd video card the tube will go down to the psu then go rigth in to rad and out the top. Seem like a good idea, but how will i mount the rad? Im down to some hefty modding and the 360 will be at the top.

I mounted my RX360 below the bars that span the bottom of the top cage; the holes line up perfectly. Depending on your motherboard you should be able to fit fans below it then, but it'll probably be a tight fit around your ram. I was able to just barely fit all 6 of my fans on my radiator. I don't think you could fit the radiator in the top cage because it is very thick.
