Why are the fitting sizes in metric?

I am looking at fittings on Performance PC and there all listed in metrics.. but my tubing is in inches and I am not that bright.

Looking at Alphacool Fittings.

Need fittings for 1/2 x 3/4 tubing. Please advise

You know what they call a quarter-pounder with cheese in Paris?

10mm = 1cm, 2.54cm = 1"

It looks like some of the listings have the imperial measurements in parentheses, like "13mm (1/2")" or am I look at that wrong?

Yeah, the parenthesis are the imperial measurements.

1/4 ~ 6mm
3/8” ~ 10mm
1/2" ~ 13mm
5/8" ~ 16mm
3/4" ~ 19mm

You want 19/13 Alphacools... which I don't see on PPCs site or on Frozen. Other brands seem to have that covered though.

As for why they are in metric, it is because they are made in Europe where they use a much better measurement system...

I prefer metric. It's annoying getting bits/ends in fractions. Then having to keep two tool sets, more annoying?

Glad to know there decent.. I was just looking for cheap.. Hate spending $50 in fittings, but they do look clean.

can i order these 45 degree fittings and then just add my own compression fitting to it.

They list metric sizes because the US is the only country that is opposed to the metric system. We really need to make that plunge, seriously.
