AMD FX-6100 Zambezi 3.3GHz

AMD FX-4100 Zambezi 3.6GHz

AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103727

I was thinking of going with the AMD X4 965 since its $99 but i want the best one for gaming out of this list.

Games played are Starcraft 2, World of Warcraft, Diablo 3, Call of Duty.

whats the rest of the build you will be using please?
mobo and ram please?

the choice would be down to the mbo mostly, if your getting a top of the range fx chipset , get the 6100 as you can open it up fully, if your mobo is lesser get a chip to fit it as you can overclock it only so far with each mobo and chip.

How soon are you gonna be buying? It's only a few days before Piledriver comes out, early tests show some decent improvements. Might want to wait up for it.smile.gif

New CPU's, basically. Early reports are showing about 10-15% faster performance, clock for clock.

Should be here around October 25th.

the FX-4300 is priced at $131 at launch. Pile driver chips should also overclock 10% higher and use about 10% less power than a similarly clocked BD.
