3. Would these be fine for jogging and gym?
Thanks for the help!!
The black and blue are the same. I've only used the mic on it once, and was told I sounded clear. I think you'll be OK jogging, but you may have to do the weird wrap around where the cable goes up around your ear instead of straight down.

I have the UE 600' UE 700, Shure 215's and 535's. for100 bucks the 215's and 600's sound great. The 700's (dual drivers) a bit better and may be down to the 100 buck range. The 535's sound fantastic, but cost a bundle.

The clear 215's are daily drivers for me and work great. The 600's (vi model) have a controller on the right side wire... Works great with iPhone.

If you can afford it, get dual drivers at a minimum.

Yer the 535s are a tad out of the price rang i was temped by the 215's but hate the over the ear cable design. The Sennheiser are tempting since there a brand that has severed me well in the past but I know i would always wish i had a bit more bass.

The only question i really have before i buy the Vpulse is how bad are the Microphonics (feedback noise produced when the headphone cable hits something or comes in contact with something)

I find any buds with bad microphonic really irritating My GR2 had terrible microphonics every time i moved the cable feedback was loud and clear.

The microphone is a nice bonus but i really don't intend to use so its no big deal

Cable noise on the 700's is there. Less on my Shures. That said, the 700's are musically very good, with good base in my opinion. I took the 700's and bought some two part ear protection custom moulded silicone putty and made my own custom fit. It's works fantastically! It available from online "safety" supply stores. Push the bud in while waiting 10 min to set, pull the bud out after curing. Cut out opening, replace bud and you have a $300+ custom fit IEM.

Ended up getting the Yamaha EPH-100 for $100 (which i'm fairly certain are the same as the Yamaha EPH-100SL) because Vpulse can't be purchased internationally
Sound great, microphonics are fairly good and they are quite comfortable. They do however seem to notable increase pressure in the ear when put on far more than any IEM that i'v owned before that said my ears are quite sensitive and i find it quite bearable.....

Sound wise they sound bright and colorful, wonderful sound maybe a tad light on the bass but at least its not boomy and distorted which i'v found a common issues with IEM's. (i'm probable a bit of a bass head).

The only other possible issue i can think of is they do stick out of your ear a fair bit. I would happily recommend these to any other OCN member... Hope the feed back helps someone thumb.gif
