How do I roll back to driver 12.7?

Hey everyone, I've been having issues lately with my 7870. I'll get black screen freeze and sound glitches, then complete freeze of computer. This first started when I was processing a video with Live movie maker. It'd do that and then I had to reset. Then it started to happen when gaming in CS:GO and happens almost every time I play 5 minutes into it. It's happened once in Battlefield 3 and Amnesia.

The card is pretty new, normal temps. Right now it's 29 degrees idle and doesn't get past 60 something when under stress. I'm thinking a driver rollback may help. The cpu not getting enough volts under stress has crossed my mind as well. Load line calibration was at medium and I set it to high. in the Bios I set the voltage and my 8120 is running at 3.8 on 2.60. Just some info in case anyone wanted it and thought I could try something else first.

Also, I'm using an hdtv at 1280x720 resolution. If there's anything I should adjust in catalyst outside of default, let me know if you could.

Edit: Seems 12.6 is considered a more stable driver. Think I'll do with that one...

Yea I had the audio stutter etc happen once or twice in BL2 with my 7870.
12.6 is the best to roll-back to if you want to do it.

First you'll need to uninstall all ATI software in control panel.
It's also recommended you sweep/clean the drivers as well; most people use Driver Sweeper (which you use in safe-mode), but you can also do this manually (check out this guide).

After that just install the driver suite de jour and your're set smile.gif

Thanks guys, just did a reset to 12.3. Uninstalled all old drivers and used the disk that came with the 7870. If I don't have any issues with this version I'll bump up to 12.6.
