As for "its suppose to be 15-20% faster than bd", I doubt that..
And llano has upgraded Stars (mobile Phenom II architecture).

you know, if you read the article I posted, you would see that it is.

I think he got messed up thinking "Phenom ll cores are faster than BD cores, clock-for-clock". We don't even have to go there since Llano uses Athlon ll cores.
Okay Instructions per clock does not matter. It's clock speed and ipc with power consumption is what matters. Clock speed and ipc, is instructions per second. TRINITY HAS MORE IPS THEN LLANO!

Nobody cares what trinity gets at llano stock clock. Because trinity is never clocked there, and consumes less power at it's stock then llano even though it has a higher clock speed. Trinity is better at stock, and better overclocked. END OF STORY.

@booy318, are u sure about llano cores are athlon?? i think you are mistaken! Do a little search cause I did and it seems u are whrong in this. BUT, even so, it seems that trinity it is then, for future upgrade (i think that the steamroller is going to be real good..)

But what about the prices?? A good gigabyte mobo and the 3870k costs about 85+105=190 euro

He's right, Llano's stars cores are based off Ph2 with some enhancements other than the lack of L3 cache.

TRINITY!.... I dont know why your stuck on this llano thing.... you asked a question and MANY people have told you, yet you dont believe... piledriver cores (or modded BD cores) whatever you wanna call them ARE better than llano, look at any benchmark they speak the truth
