OR you could just set 4.5v and put 1.3v into and see if it even boots. Then just keep uping the voltage till it does boot into windows and start running stability tests. After that, keeping bumping voltage till stable. Also make sure you got a good heat sink (the Hyper 212 should handle things). 

There are a few other changes you got to play with before doing all this to begin with. The Asrock overclocking guide should get you squared away though. If you have any questions, make a thread and PM me. I will help you the best I can.
Thx for the help smile.gif I did the same as you at first.I put the voltage to stock settings which was 1.1V and i booted ,ran instability check tests and everything was stable.I just I should do anything else or should i try to lower the voltage even more thought most people need around 1.2 for 4.0Ghz
And also,between 4.0 and 4.5,there isn't that much of a difference - it's the same as from 3.4 to 4.0.Why would i need to increase the voltage so drastically for 4.5? Can i just try it at something like 1.2(i guess i can) but is it even possible to be stable at that voltage and 4.5GHz?

this is how low i could go using offset, 1.248 volt, 4545 ghz oc, offset 0.010 V,
i also tried using a fixed voltage,
then it would be around 1.230-1.235

but like others say, every chip is different, maybe you need less, maybe a bit more, simple smile.gif
1.2 V for 4.5 ghz oc isnt much, 1.25 V should work for most i think,
could very well be that theres some out there who can run 1.2V tho,
i know mine needs a bit more ..

Thx,i'll try this when i get my new PSU ! I tried putting offset + 0.005V (i've saw that from asrock overclock guide) but when i do,at 4.00Ghz and prime95 testing,my voltage goes all the way up to 1.24V?!!? Why's that? I can run it at 1.1V 4.00Ghz for sure with perfect stability(still testing,16 hours prime95)Should i just stay at fixed 1.1V because when it goes up to 1.24V,my temps raise a bit too? And from what i've read,lower voltage is always better.Am i right?

4.5Ghz at 1.2V Prime testing max 75C at Hyper 212 and my PSU can handle it.I will lower it to 4.0 though,i prefer 1.1V .This was just a test.1 hour prime95 test with 100% load and 100% ram utilized smile.gif Do you guys think my chip is a good overclocker,it's from Costa Rica btw biggrin.gif
