Thread Starter
I started thread about which card shall i pick but I already decided.
So in short

I have and plan to keep it:
- asrock z77 extreme6
- i7 3770K
- xonar stx
- 4 hdds(3x0,5 + 2T - possible shrink to 2 big drives in future) and sdd
- DVD
- ripjawsx CL9 1600 2x8GB

I will sell soon:
- p183, cp-850, nh-d14, vapor-x 7970

What i already decided for(slight change possible but unlikely):
- msi 680 lightning with aquagraFX GTX 680 Lightning(backplate needed?)
- NZXT Switch 810 gunmetal case

Where I need advice
- PSU - was considering Enermax Modu87+ 700W 80 Plus Gold (would it handle possible 2nd msi in the future with similar setup). Do i need to extend cables with third party wires in such big case?
- CPU block - stick with same brand and take for example Aquacomputer cuplex kryos HF
- Radiators and fans for those - not sure if I need more the 3x140 (possible 2nd GPU consequences?)
- What pump for GPU/CPU only(possible 2nd GPU consequences), how to eliminate noise and vibrations from it(Shoggy Sandwich worth it?)
- Wires and connectors(size/material/length)
- Reservoir - preferred 5,25 bay easy to maintain without pump inside(are those safe as those tubes inside the case?)
- Coolant
- RPM controller for fans - ASROCK mobo solution sucks and as i got reply they don't plan to change it though hardware is not limiting them tongue.gif
- safety additions needed/not needed (temperature/flow meter), parts with possible air removal from water, some kind of auto turn off if pump fails etc.

What i don't want to
- All the UV/LED stuff - forget it not my style - if case has it then it's more then i need tongue.gif
- no color coolant(white wires to contrast with black mobo/case)

What I aim for
- silence - crucial as I might move it to sleeping room one day again + I play on open headphones ATH-AD700
- performance @2560x1440 for 1-2years then i could add another gpu if such need arises
- OC headroom - with water and this GPU should be possible

For the PSU, that would work for a single one, but for a second you may want a larger PSU (850 watts or higher).

CPU Block: I haven't read much into the aquacomputer blocks so I'm not familiar with them, but what I would reccomend are the EK Supremacy (non nickel) or the XSPC Raystorm

A 420mm radiator would be fine for the GPU and CPU, but if you add a second GPU to the mix you would probably want another 120.2 (240mm) radiator. As for what to choose from I always reccomend the Alphacool Nexxxos UT60, but you could also go with the XSPC RX series that are also great performers.

Fans you could go for cougar vortex, scythe gentle typhoons (they're the most reccomended), noctuas, noiseblockers, and there's plenty more

For a pump/res combo I'm using an XSPC Dual bay D5 and an Alphacool VP655 pump, and they work great.

Fan controllers I don't know as well, but lamptron is what I use and they do a great job, but someone else probably knows more than me on this front

Hope this helps.

After reading some test (It's not that I want everything given on plate)
I'm leaning towards XSPC Raystorm for CPU block
Still wondering about pump.

Maybe most of you already know thjis site but posting it for reference wink.gif.

The most powerful pump I think you can buy in terms of flow is the MCP35x, the other I'd reccomend is the D5/alphacool VPP655.

I've had great success with swiftech 355... i dont hear it run and its been going well over a year through multiple builds.
With the switch 810 has lots of room for radiator space so getting plenty of surface area shouldnt be a problem.
Waterblock... raystorm is definitely the way to go.
Coolant - i'm a fan of distilled water w/ a kill coil (biocide is just as good)
I started out my first build in a phantom with a bay reservoir, i liked it however topping it off became a real exercise.. my latest build i'm running a cylinder with the pump mounted to the bottom and it mounted using a bracket inside, this came out not only cleaner but its very easy to top off.

If you do go with a bay res i would recommend building in a method for draining and topping off.

I thought i would explain what i mean by a real exercise.

1) Remove left door
2) remove right door
3) remove bay mounting (quick release on one side, screw on other)
4) slide res out (this put a strain on the hose, i should have left a bit more extra hose)
5) remove cap
6) insert funnel
7) top off water
8) tighten cap
9) slide bay back in
10) remount screw and quick release
11) attach doors

With cylinder res and cosmos 2

1) open door
2) remove cap
3) place funnel
4) top off water
5) replace cap
6) close door

This takes about a minute max.

Im thinking of Alphacool Repack Dual Bayres 5,25" - Rev.2
http://www.alphacool.com/images/product_images/popup_images/1096_0.jpg
you should be able to fill it without pulling it out the big screw on top left.

As of PSU i plan to buy
Seasonic X-Series X-1050 SS-1050XM 80Plus Gold 1050W what i wonder though is if it will not block bottom radiator in future(if i need to add one eventually)

Graphic card still undecided 1/3 premium for 680 lightning over 7970 made me consider other options.

Atm gathering information about confirmed full block 7970 models from other users - EK configurator visual fit doesn't convince me tongue.gif.
