Diffrent drive size setup for raid0

Ok this just came into my mind.

I have a spare 250gb HD it´s SATA3gb capable my main drive i use now is a 1TB SATA3gb one.

I have a Controller thats called intel series 5/3400.

I use it in AHCI mode atm.

Ok heres what came up in my mind is it possible to do a RST install 250gb + a 250gb Partition on the 1TB disk in RST Software ?

Will the RST software be able to convert the disk i use now to a RAID0 ?

Also if it is possible will i get 250+250gb raid0 and 750gb non raid or will the 750gb just go to waste with the setup.

If the 750gb goes to waste theres another posibility.

Shrink the Partition of the 1TB disk to 750gb and use a windows software raid0 with 250gb partition of disk 1 and 250gb of the 250gb disk.

But this wont be able to boot windows.

Or is there a way to make windows recognize a software raid like linux does?

I know Linux can do it cause i had a setup like that on a ancient rig ages ago with two old ide disks.

But i guess Windows still doesnt want that it anybody know about it ?

Also if i create a 2nd drive as raid 0 is there a easy way to move all my games/download folder to this now raid0 drive? + some vbox images etc.

You can't put both halves of an array on the same drive.
And, even if you could you'd loose any advantage the RAID setup could provide.

huh i dont want to put em on the same i said i have a spare 250gb disk but if intel rst just wasteed the rest of my 1tb drive it´s pointless.

i want to know if the rest of the bigger drive could be made visible basically a intel rst raid is just a software raid.

i want to have

disk1 raid0 250gb
disk1 rest
disk2 raid0 250gb
