Is 2GB enough for 1440p - Page 4

Could go for a 670GTX 4Gb version, ASUS have released a DCU-II version, wouldn't this give him the best all round option for 1440 gaming?
Or does the 256 memory Bandwidth on the 670 cause a bottle neck?

670's can't utilize 4GB of VRAM very well. That's why they came with 2GB to begin with. It's like buying a 2GB GTX550Ti. You're still going to be held back by the bandwidth of the bus.

If your going to want to play the most demanding games at 1440p Maxed out, Balls to the wall, like BF3, Metro2033, Max Payne, Exedra, You will definitely want to go (Evga Ftw 4gb Sli GTX 670oc) and never look back. Just look at how much more you can oc them than any other 670s or 680s and the reviews. But if you were just at 1080p and didn't have too much to spend i would get a GTX windforce 670oc 2gb they are awesome my buddy maxes every game out at 1080p Np and his fans never go over 60% the card is whisper silent and has never went over 53c even under max stress test with +95 core and +400 memory
