[Question] Video and Audio Syncing

i've been taking pictures for a few years now and i want to take a step into shooting video or at least try it out. i will be shooing video with my Canon 7D and various lenses. but the project i want to work on will just be a music video style shoot. where i sync the song they are singing over what they are actually singing.

so my question is what would be some good programs that i can do that with? doesn't matter the cost i am just looking for anything. but i would like some precision.

would aeither of these work After Effects or Premiere?

this is something you might want to edit in premiere and add special effects using after effects. there are some plugins that can sync audio for you automatically but im not sure if they are good but honestly they are a scam.

syncing audio is so quick and easy. only takes 30 secs max for a clip if you have good file naming. just make sure that when you shoot every clip has a sync point aka a popping noise in both audio and video. i usually make my subject clap. but with a music video that will obviously prove to be much harder. my only suggestion for shooting a music video like that is to go off the timecode of the song and sync it that way.

its easy if you make the singers sing while shooting/taping so you can follow their lips to sync it in editing

i use Sony Vegas. but After Effects, Premiere will also do the job.
