As you guys know the AMD Bulldozer has been getting alot of abuse since its release. my cpu on my signature pc fried and i had to get a new one without buying a motherboard and they dont sell phenoms anymore at the site i usually shop at so i chose the bulldozer. Is it worse? i would appreciate some info.

Which one did you buy?

You could have held out a few more weeks for Piledriver.

It's not quite that bad but it does deserve most of the carp it has gotten. If you got a FX-8120 or a FX-8150 and can get it up to a good OC (~4.5GHz) then you will see a small improvement. However if you got a FX-6100 congratulations you just downgraded.

The 8150 isn't a bad processor at all. Its a beast at multi-threaded apps smile.gif. While gaming you won't see any real improvement though.
