Overclocking my AMD Radeon HD 6570

Thread Starter
I am going to overclock my Radon HD 6570 using MSI Afterburner never done it before but was told by someone this is what to do. Just want to make sure this is the right thing to do.

"Start pushing each slider in 10MHz increments at a time and test for stability (use Kombuster or Furmark for stability testing)

Keep doing that until you artifact or crash (don't worry, its normal).

When that happens, back up by 5Mhz and you have your stable clocks . Oh and make sure to keep an eye on temps."

this is the ss of what afterburner looks like right now

Either way, push the memory as far as it can go and test for stability. It'll boost your framerates better.

Why do you even try to overclock that gpu instead of just buying a cheap 6870 or something?
