Do you want to game in 3d? Yes? Get the 3d
If No. Get 1440p unless you play a crap ton of shooters and want 120hz.

I just got a 1440P monitor (Crossover 27 LED-P) and I couldn't be happier. Here are my first impressions + some pictures (more detailed stuff on the way)

1440p Monitors are more expensive. Personally Better Colors, Resolution, Viewing Angles, Quality > Then Faster Refresh Rate for some Game.

Frankly I'm not sure- never delved into 120Hz monitors. I just saw the deal and wanted to pass it along. I can say that my 1440p (DVI-D only) has less input lag than my Dell U2311H.
