Mouse Pad choices for the Roccat Savu?

Anyone have any suggestions, planning on using Amazon or Newegg perhaps Puetrak if I can figure that out, but who knows. Maybe. =P

Anyhow, I would like to be able to have good tracking with the Savu. =D

Budget is around $20.00 I suppose.

Artisan's are just to high and rare, so will not try one of those.

Mionix Mouse pads?

Roccat Taito?

Puretrak Stealth?

Any suggestions? Does not have to be what i listed.

Plus, it does not have to be a a HUGE mouse pad or anything, just a good sized one. I will be playing all different types of Genre's. FPS, MMORPG, etc, etc.

I've had no issues using a Puretrak Talent White SE. The lighter color lowers the LOD a bit on the Savu.

It tracks well on all pads I tried... the main difference should be the performance of the pad (the initial motion, glide, etc)

FYI the lifting distance of Savu on different pads
QcK mini: <5mm
Hien: <6mm
Shidenkai: <4mm
4HD: <2mm
Steelpad 5L: <4mm

I am not really worried about the LOD. As I am not much on that, I mean I could probably learn, if needed in a game.

Anyone know how it tracks on a Mionix Sargas 320? Waited 24hrs before posting again. =D

That's a pretty nice looking pad, shame my CMstorm would not track on that at all frown.gif
Still one of the best cloth choices out there.

You could try the PureTrak Talent or Steelseries Qck, both are very good mousepads.

Seems the PureTrak Talent / Stealth is popular. =P Okay, then I will consider that. Anyone else have any ideas? By the way, does the Savu track better on soft or hard mouse pads?

Cloth - High sensitivity player and more optimized for optical mouses
Hard - Low sensitivity and more optimized for laser

puretrak talent if you have the desk space
puretrak stealth if you're limited

it's hard to beat the quality, feel, rep, PRICE and support of those products
