i'm divided by:

Maximus IV Gene-Z/GEN3 or GA-Z77X-UD5H-WB

Gonna be using only 1 videocard, but i do like to overclock the cpu. What do you recommend?

nh-d14 will be the cooler, the maximus is cheaper for me in Brazil..

Any help will be appreciated
Thanks

I would go for the gigabyte Z77 board any day over the ASUS one.

the ASUS motherboard is cheaper because it is Z68. the Z77 is newer/

good luck with your purchase, i got a friend of mine running the same gigabyte motherboard and he did not run into any problems. the board runs smooth with ivy bridge i7 3770k and SLI setup of his.

Why do you want those two boards if you are only going to run single GPU?

Get something like an ASRock Z77 Pro4 and be done with it. Still overclocks fine
