BackTrack 5 on VirtualBox.

BT5 doesn't see my WiFi USB card on VirtualBox. Gives "no wireless extensions" message when trying iwconfig command. Whenever I try to enable it in USB devices under options it disappears in Windows but appears in VM. But the net connection is lost. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Backtrack is not as user friendly as Ubuntu. Go to the manufacturers website of your USB wireless get get the ubuntu linux driver and install it. Just make sure the USB device is shared. If you're just using it for aircrack, check here to see if it will even work.

Aircrack forums may also help you get it working. You should really use vmware player for backtrack anyways. Its a lot more compatible and has a lot more community support out there.
