Before I start handing out advice.....what is the purpose of this computer? Mostly gaming with a large monitor? Gaming with a small monitor? Mostly video encoding with some gaming? No gaming at all and just a benchmark machine?

The purpose of the computer is a vital consideration before making any recommendations or purchases.

The main purpose of this Machine is Gaming with a large monitor.

ikehack; I'll have to agree with everyone here and the reason why we're giving you this advise is because we "know" what we're talking about.

CrossFire on a P965 chipset is not as good as on a 975X and an X1950XTX is not as good as an 8000GTS and the GTS is a DX10 card while the ATI is not. If games is your thing, that's why we highly recommend the GTS.

Now, as far as RAM goes, well, Corsair "TEST" all of their RAM on ASUS boards, so there will no problem there at all.

I understand, I actually didn't notice that it wasnt 975X I forget how long ago (under a month and a half) someone on here recommended that board for me, but if crossfire isnt great with this chipset and the chipset on here handles the one X1950XTX then I'm fine with that.

granted still if your going to send one thing back i would personally send the other parts back and get the more future proofish stuff while you can (imo)

Gaming only with a large monitor??

Then you should go with a nice 975X chipset (the P5W DH for instance), I would check and be sure the baord supports the Quad core Kentsfields just for future proofing as mentioned(or go with a Kentsfield now if you're gonna drop $1000 on a CPU), and the 8800GTS. This leaves the door open to run SLI if you feel it is needed (or just for higher benchmarks) but it will not limit your CPU overclocking like a NVIDIA chipset would........
