RAZER TAIPAN ( IN-DEPTH REVIEW ) - Page 4

True, still no issue. Take f0rest, best example. He's shots the crap out of most people with any mouse. And yes, I have a Kinzu. Just don't use it because it would take too much time to adapt to its weird sensor. Other than that it has no side buttons and that's a pain in the ass in terms of browsing.

This is a hardware forum (specifically one on mice), of course there is issue which mouse is better. And OP is actually claiming Taipan is better than other mice, not that Taipan does not affect his performance in game.

Well, maybe he thinks so, maybe he's paid for saying that. Even so, most people don't take him serious, I guess.

PS: VW Beetle is the best car ever invented!

For Avago lasers, it's not just "accel", it's variable accel at different meters per second ranging from negative to positive 5%. This gives the cursor a slight floaty feeling you don't get with opticals. The way you adapt to it is by turning all flick shots into 2 step movements. You flick the cursor to the general area you're aiming at with fast movement, then you use a slower movement to place it in position. It's like a parkinson's disease style of gameplay where you're kind of always trying to modify the landing spot with smaller movements after the big one. Back when I used a Razer Diamondback optical, there was a lot less mystery of where my cursor was going to end up when I flicked it at high speed so I could get away with just a 1 step flick and not trying to adjust as it gets there.
I feel like I can still do a head shot pretty easy with a laser, but if I'm playing perfectly with an optical, I'm probably doing "eye shot" precision. Flicking from head to head really isn't that big of a problem on a laser.

That's actually wrong.

Only the specific 9500/9800 architecture has acceleration. Older VCSEL models are quite simular in design to the older LED architect.

What im saying is, it's not a "laser" issue.

Ya both might wanna read the TOS, as ya broke it since ya swore in your posts, also "deadeye" attacking another user and, ya know, just bad grammar and spelling...

OP awaiting conclusions, however this mouse has already seen a few bad reviews, the quality isn't top notch like the DeathAdders and Nagas.
