cooler comparision - Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo vs V8

Thread Starter
I'm planning on running a 2500K on a max possible air cooled OC for a multi-purpose rig. I want high performance with(strongly preferred) very quiet performance.

Anyone have advice on which one to get? I see the reviews and the V8 seems to be very noticably quieter on a max speed, but is it's cooling efficiency as good as the sound improvement? If it is, I'd be happy to spend the little bit extra to get it. I'm biased towards the V8, but want a second opinion first.
Also, if anyone knows if they will fit fine in a Thermaltake VL200K1W2Z case with an Asus P8Z77-V mobo( all 4 ram slots used)?
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/hAGG That's the build at present if you are curious..

Thanks for the help!

for the price of the v8 you could easily get something better, i would recommend the nzxt havik
although if you are only doing mild overclocking then the evo will suit you just fine

I plan on trying to get a 4.5ghz or better, if cooling limits and cpu allow. I want to push it as far as I can on air cooling so I want something that can handle the heat and then some. I'd rather have a decent amount extra overhead than not have good enough.
Thanks, I'll check out that cooler and prob add that to the list :-)
