New Project [Name Here]

Hi there guys. I'm looking to be purchasing the components end of this week/start of next. Just want to get some input if you guys think this will be all right. First time tackling water cooling in a rig.

Computer use - Will mainly be for gaming/programming/modeling.

Now I've tried to limit myself to some sort of budget as I'm needing to redecorate my bedroom.

Components:
Motherboard - Azrock Extreme4 Z77
Processor - Intel 3770k (will be overclocked)
Graphics - VTX3D x-edition 7970 or Asus 7970 DCII Top
Memory - 16GB Corsair Vengeance 1600Mhz (8x2 or 4x4?)
Power Supply - OCZ ZT 650W
Drive - Pioneer Bluray/Dvd rw
HDD1 - Seagate Barracuda 2TB
HDD2 - OCZ agility 3 120gb SSD
Case - NZXT Switch 810 (Matt black or gloss)

Watercooling:
Kit - XSPC Raystorm 750 RS240 Kit
Extra Raditator - XSPC RS240 Radiator
GPU Block - EK-FC7970 DCII or EK-FC7970
Fluid - Mayhems new red pastel (1L)

Raystorm CPU block replaced with Red LED's. And black compression fittings will be purchased instead of the barbs.

Peripherals:
Monitor: LG IPS234V-PN
Mouse: Logitech G9X (Possibly MW3 edition to save pennies then buy separate grips)
Keyboard: Cooler Master CM Storm Quick Fire Rapid
Headset: Sound Blaster Wrath

Cable Management:
Looking to go with a Black/White/Red theme with the case. Cable will be braided in paracord (Wanted MDPC but again funds are short).
Cables will be cable sewn to keep lines nice and smooth running.

Questions:
Which Graphics card do you think will be better for what I need?
Is the watercooling enough to work together with the components I have listed?
Will the kit have enough tubing for GPU/CPU loop?
Thinking of going push/pull on one radiator (top)?
Which way to exhaust? Assuming radiators on the top exhaust out of case? And bottom one exhausting in?


Sorry for the total newbness. Just rather get it right before buying everything haha .

Thankyou for the input dude.

Funnily enough I was actually looking at the 830's before the Agility 3. Went over price over performance it seems haha.

Regarding the WD Black. I have heard nothing but good things from these but again price put me off. But after reading what you have said I think I'll get the 1TB WD Black over the 2TB Barracuda and possibly upgrade in the future to a second Black.

Ahh wish I'd seen this about ten minutes before you posted that message haha, ordered everything, checked overclock then seen your message haha. Just seen that new res. it's nice looking and love the levelled acrylic panel in the front plate.
On a plus side I'm planning on modding the front panel of the case some how to have a view of the res that way as I don't think the black xspc panel will blend well with the next gloss black. Bit of cuttin here and there and should look okay. Also hoping the optical drive will be hidden behind the "drive" fascia thingy the case has as it keeps the Matte black and gloss black from flashing being hidden haha. See how it goes when the parts arrive

HI there guys sorry for lack of updates, Phone was playing up so no photos yet. I had a slight leak on the XSPC Combo Red, (leaking out the actual pump power cable) But thankfully nothing died (I'm hoping, yet to try my HDD) But will upload a few temporary setup pictures a bit later.

As you can see I'm not a photographer but that's basically my temp setup until I get funds to sort my room out.

Had a slight leak in the resvior as I said in the previous post which I think has ruined my HDD. (But again it might have arrived DOA)


Done a couple of benchmarks with 3dmark 11 heres the results:

It says the results are invalid which is fair enough. But on the extreme it ran alot smoother. Which I was shocked about (thinking it was another gimmick to sell the mobo)

At the moment I'm overclocking the cpu. Stable at the moment at 1.275V 4.6ghz. Haven't played around alot with it but will let you know once I've had ago.
