Anyone ever hear of the P5B Deluxe having install problems with XP Pro Sp2 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131045 look at the second comment in the user reviews. I think the guy just might have a really system specific problem....or maybe hes just a tool?

I'd ignore that "review"

And yes, he is/was a tool

I think im gonna go for the Gigabyte-S3 $30 cheaper than the DS3 and that can be better spent on the video card!

SAPPHIRE Radeon X1950XT 256MB $270

I'd try to fit in a 8800GTS

I have a feeling there will be better alternatives to the 8800s sometime in the near future so the <$170 7900GS should do everything I need it to do until then. Remember, I'm coming off a 6800xt and that was good enough most of the time.

I'd at least get the x1950pro over the 7900GS

I'm close to grabbing that x1950pro but then I am spending more than what I'm getting for my sig parts a, $40 difference is pretty big right now... I like the idea of getting a C2D to 3.0ghz+ and a wayyyy better card for what I'm selling my current stuff for.

Have you heard of any problems with that Crucial DDR667 ram and the Gigabyte S3/DS3 not booting properly? I really dont want my stuff to get here and not post..

The x1950pro would be better than a 7900GS and if you're holding off on DX10 until more cards arrive then the more "powerful" the card you can get today, the better

I haven't heard or seen anything about the Crucial sticks having trouble booting with the S3/DS3
