Corsair AX 750 Fan

Thread Starter
I know a lot of threads have been made about the fan not spinning and I understand its only suppose to spin under certain loads.

But I just got it yesterday and it won't even start spining with Linx fully loading the CPU with 25000 problem size with a i7-3920K 4.2GHz at 1.25 volts AND my GTX 670 at 1250MHz running heaven .

Is this normal?

could be, in a normal case setup you won't be seeing it spin up until ~250w. a 670 is not a power hungry card by any means and i doubt unigine will be stressing your cpu very much so it doesn't seem defective at the moment. try running prime + furmark, that should give you an indication. i guess the fan could have a higher than normal startup voltage? don't quote me on that one though

yeah I know heaven doesnt stress the CPU, thats why I ran linx and unigine at the same time. Still nothing. Isn't linx harder on the CPU then prime?

I had issues with my Corsair AX-850, not sure about the fan not spining though. Yours should be spining if the CPU/GPU are at load, so it must be defective.
