Ok so far from an hour of trial and error, i have so far managed 20 minutes of 4.5 ghz@1.232v... -005v and it Bsod after opening prime. Right now it seems to be perfect. Going to stress for an hour to see how things go.

Highest core: 67c
Tmpin3: 67c

Is that safe^ Thanks lots.

Gonna need a fan to cool TMPin3 to go for 5 ghz 24/7. I know my chip can do it with an h60 thumb.gif

Psh, safe? It's outstanding! You also have a veeeeeeeery good cpu/mobo if you can get 4.7 stable under 1.3 volts.

Edit: This isn't meant to push you to raise your oc further. IMO anything over 4.5 ghz is negligible at best. After running benchmarks, you'll notice this cpu doesn't produce much more after 4.5. The fact that you can reach higher at such a low voltage, however, I would leave it where it's at.

64c (after a long heavy load or game) on mobo heatsink seems safe.

If you keep vcore under 1.35v for the 2500k and temps under 70c under load, then it should last more than 3 years.
IMHO, go for the 4.5GHz thumb.gif or the 5.0GHz

Or, to be very safe, get the 3-year Tuning Plan from Intel which, for 25$, will replace your CPU no questions asked:

Yes i managed to get 1.296v @4.7 ghz but my motherboard would make it run at 3.3ghz after tmpin3 hits over 70c.

another thing is that at stock, it runs stable at 1.048v....

Is there a way for me to run it at 1.048v stock, and idle at .89v? Because my chip BSODS, because it needs at least .8v for idle...
