I would so much rather get a proper 7970, like that diamond for 315 and add a block for 100. You're already ahead in the game and would probably clear 100 saved off the platinum. The only reason to get a DC2 or higher is for the outputs. It should really have 5 or 6 miniDP though.

seriously, where is that 315$ 7970? (but it doesn't really matter to me (if anyone notices this epic reference tongue.gif ), because A: i already got the 7950 950mhz, and B: i live in israel and there is simply no chance that prices would drop that low, let alone drop at all frown.gif )

$490 is the pricing apparently. Worth it for a higher binned card? Perhaps. The better questions are: when will Newegg/Amazon have it, and will it have the same problems as the DC2 Top? If it's that bad, should I just go for a MSI Lightning?

Wait a sec. Platinum edition comes with a Diablo 3 mouse pad? It just so turns out that I have had a mouse pad for a little over 5 months now that you cant buy anywhere and its made by Steelseries.

EDIT: Nvm the last time I checked it wasnt on theur store page. Now it is.
