[G.O.N] Why the PC version of NFS: Most Wanted will be the best around - Page 5

No, people really should complain. Enough bad rep and EA will have to improve their approach.

People complaining about origin need to stop. Steam is great, but origin is just another small program to run. I use it for Fifa and BF3 and although I have it run at startup I notice no difference in my day to day computing with it open. It auto logs in, sits minimized until I need it, and thats it. Steam is the same way and I honestly don't understand what the big deal is.
99% of us visiting this site have a computer that will not be able to notice a small program sitting idle in the background. Why make a big deal over something so small.
If everyone hated steam too I could see it, but everyone loves steam, yet hates origin which does basically the same thing.
Worst case have it set to only run when you boot up a game that requires it...
If you have a problem with it for a particular reason (like someone mentioned the information storage, performance issues) fine, but to just write off a game because of it without even considering using it is pretty silly.

Except steam games will launch strait from the exe if you want. No need to use the steam interface if you don't want to. With orgin and Uplay you have to go though the respective interfaces to get the game running and I for one find this incredibly annoying.

Wow people just hate Origin, to me I have no problem, steam for me is always running, but I only start orgin when I want to play one of my EA games. The service seems to work enough I have no problem with it. I guess I'm just weird or to me it seems that on OCN allot of people say things to be provocative. Just my 2 cents.

Which is why TF2 and CSS have a 300 fps cap, so you can enjoy the best mouse input possible

NFS and fps ?

I thought last console port we had was 30 fps.

So now we'll more FPS but capped at 30 fps ?

No one said this game was capped at 30 fps.

We aren't talking about The Run anymore, this game WILL NOT be capped at 30 fps. And even if we were, they fixed that later with a patch. Get your facts straight.

Dunno why, but I liked Gran Turismo 3 ASpec and Forza 3 more than any NFS Game.

Even Most Wanted which I liked was still lacking in comparison, whether the overall simplicity didn't go with my serious tastes or I felt it to be a little characterless.

Good to see they are moving forward, Frostbite 2 for a racing game is just unreal!

All I meant is that even with better performances, with high graphics it's not demanding at all.
I would have prefered full DX11 than lighnings and shadows.

EDIT: Also don't mind origin at all. If EA wants to do it, fine by me. It was a buisness decision on their part, and I respect that. I see why they did it, and it makes sense economically.

This about sums up my thoughts as well. I enjoy the NFS games for what they are: fun arcade driving. Origin doesn't particularly bother me at all.
