Radeon 7850 water block, are there any more besides EK?

Is it that the card sucks, is that why only one company makes water blocks for the card?

I wouldn't say the card sucks, it's still toward the higher end of the AMD card spectrum. The thing is, 7850s are pretty cheap in terms of GPUs, so not many people are going to want to spend like half the price of their card or more on a full coverage block for a card that's not top of the line. Since there wouldn't be much market for them, I suspect companies are just focusing elsewhere. You can still get blocks for the 7850, they just won't be full coverage unless it's EK.

Just grab a Dwood bracket and an H50/H70. My current 7850 has an H70 and has been clocked happy at 1275 / 1500 (1.225v) for months. Needless to say, temps.... they're of no concern tongue.gif

If you want to watercool your GPU just for the sake of watercooling it, a universal option such as the Danger Den Maze5, EK VGA-Supremacy, or Swiftech MCW82 would work perfectly. If you are looking to get more of a solid, full coverage look, EK is going to be your only option. It all depends on personal preference for the most part. You may be a little cooler with a full coverage block, but not enough to justify the extra $75+ if your budgets are tight.
