Now no one gets shot in the back trying to kill something. If you are camping the top floor of the towers, then you can fit 3 more people per door by having them back up and stand on the catwalk to the airpads. 36 people all gunning into that one room, plus medic and engi support is plenty.

Do not be stupid and go into the room. You will be shot by the many many people trying to kill that Vanu guy who just launched up into the room. No medic want's to go in there and help you, because they don't want to be shot. If there is no room, go camp the drop down area.

Haha I like this. Yea, funny how everyone is ready for a "raid" and then warp in and hole up in a tiny room with rocket and nade spam going crazy. You got a 50/50 chance of being killed by the enemy or friendly. I try to make my own push when that happens, suicide for the team, but it only helps if others follow suit. Afraid to die when a few sacrifices is all thats needed to break the line. Instead everyone holes up and basically gets spawn camped and it gets drawn out forever, with a few little cap pushes back and forth...

Still looking forward to some of the new updates. Really want them to make bases worth defending.

So I just discovered this game this week since I've been sick with the flu, not working, and needed something entertaining. This might be one of the best FPS games I've played. And it's pretty epic when a team of around 100 guys gets together and just steamrolls.

This is also the first game I've played that my GTX 460 can't handle maxed-out at 2560 x 1440. Maybe when my tax return comes in there might be a GTX 670 or 680 in my future...

I have a gtx 670 and I don't even play at that resolution, lol. it's so exaggerated to play higher res than 1080p unless you have like a 50 inch screen.

Not at all. I play on 1440P and because of the higher level of detail, I can see "small things" moving in the background easier than on 1080P. It makes being a sniper easier. wink.gif

Everyone talks about nerfing or buffing factions, but as of right now, having good hardware is the most overpowered thing on this game. tongue.gif

I don't care how much I have to crap out detail and effects levels, but if I have to do so to get a smooth 50+ Hz at 1440p I will. I much prefer more pixels and being able to see farther than high-detailed textures and good anti-aliasing.

this, although at 1080 (really like 3d, had to make a choice between that or higher res lol) I turn shadows low and motion blur etc off just so i can keep a constant 50+ with most at 70+. People say 25+ is playable, it looks terrible and choppy when it drops to low 40s. I would really like to go 90+ but the loss of quality is not worth it for a little bit more smoothness in comparison to 60.

I don't lag at all with my 670 but that's because I run the game in windowed 1600x900 so I can read TeamSpeak while playing. I really should get a second monitor.

or something with a lcd screen, if you don't really need a 2nd for other things too. I have a g13, it is compatible with ts, as is the g19 keyboard. i'm sure there are others as well, but I only know the logitech ones that support it. probably a decent amount cheaper than a new monitor if you don't need it, or have limited desk space.
